The sun streamed down onto the polluted stream and heat rose from the ground. Hayyel's muzzle wore a snarl of disgust as she waded into the polluted waters. The warm, shallow waters lapped at her paws and she could barely hold onto her stomach at the feel of the sick pollution the humans had caused. Why had they destroyed such a place? A place that could have been beautiful.
"Humans are disgusting, horrible creatures," she growled. It was hot though and no matter how much she hated the trash in the water she couldn't stand the heat. She needed this slightly cool escape from the burning pressure she felt all around her. The beauty sighed and waded farther into the stream, if it could even be callled that.

Strong strides brought the large frame forward. He was quite a few blocks away from the old restaurant which he lorded over but still this place gave him the feeling of being even further away. The disgusting look and smell of the creek water and the trash that was litterd all around. It was a place filled with activity of canine kind and rather repulsive things. His intentions went only as far as getting out and stretching his muscles. He couldn't take lounging within the restaurant all day; Waiting for a canine to just drop by. He had to get out there and just.. well.. get away.
His amber chasms darted towards a canine lumbering out into the vile mess of polluted creek water causing his slender mug to curl up into a utterly repulsed and flat out disgusted at the thought of even dipping his perfectly manicured self in a centimeter into that water. He was a highly meticulous and suave canine who boarded on being vain and arrogant. His perfectly manicured carrot and créme body would never come within feet of that wretched creek.
Watching the canine female wade further out into the stream he cocked his head at a rather curious angle. He understood that it was hot in this forsaken city, but it obviously repulsed the husky female as much as it did himself.. so why would she still wade further out? Giving a shake of his head he took a few steps forward, just to get her within hearing range if he rose his voice just a bit; "How can ya stand that miss?" He barked out with his normal bad-grammar but calm and rather respectful tones. [/blockquote]

She sat at the edge of the stream, everything seemed to move in slow motion around the female of ebony and ivory. Her bi-colored eyes watched the water as the ripples. A child ran screaming past her but it felt like it took forever for the child to pass her path. Slow motion.
She thought of her mother and brother, her family. How they would love to be foot loose and collar free like she was right at that moment. That moment in time where everything seemed as slow as molasses. Maw tipped to the baby blue sky, the same color as her right eye. Sierra saw no clouds to cover the sun, it seemed like no cloud would dare get in the way of the blistering star.
She needed a pack. She wanted a pack, a leader to follow, a place to call home, but where?
Looking to two other dogs she smiled. One had a cool accent while the other looked a little like herself.

Pushing her way a little bit farther into the shallower part of the stream, Hayyel looked up at the sound of a voice. Male was the dog that spoke. His coat a coppery color of orange and white. He was well groomed and looked quite good, if Hayyel was like one of the kinds of females that found males attractive. She didn't particulary like the thought of any type of relationship as it was against her aggressive nature.
Her lip curled into even more of a snarl, "It's hot out and I'm not exactly built for the heat."
Hayyel's grey eyes glared defiantly back at the other canine. She silently dared him to make some smart-ass remark so she could just see if she could take him. Her small form brought itself up, her chest thrusting out will her head pulled back proudly, her tail curled high over her back. But still her stance showed more fear than it showed bravery, fiestyness or pride.
The husky was new to the life of a street dog, having just escaped her humans a mere two weeks ago. This dog looked like he knew the ways of the street. He looked completely clean and pretty, but something in the way that he moved and spoke it showed that he knew where he was and what he wanted, like a true street dog. Hayyel longed to have that kind of confidence, but she knew it was only hopes.
Another husky sat a little ways away from her, on the shore of course. This dog didn't speak, she merely watched and listened.

His strides stopped immediately as she curled her muzzle back to snarl at him. Rolling his shoulders in a bit of a shrug not even a spark of anger was stirred within the brute. He never once brought himself to battle verbally or physically with any female. Not that he thought himself above such things, but he knew it was not the right way for things. A male should never harm a female-- he even took it a step forward and refused to argue with them. All it could lead to was trouble. "Suite cherself." He spoke calmly back once again giving a rolling shrug of his strong shoulders.
His cranium titled to the side a bit, his gaze falling upon another husky looking dame with duo-colored optics just sitting a bit up stream looking at the two of them. Nodding his head in a silent greeting for the sake of not wanting to shout he kept his gaze upon her a moment before letting his amber optics shoot momentarily back to the aggressive husky female that was obviously out trying to prove herself to someone. This city was certainly crawling with females, that was for sure. [/blockquote]

She nodded back to the male as she silently applauded the female. Such boldness. Ears swivled to the water that was filled with muck and God knows what. There was something quivering under the surface. Being the rather curious bitch that she was Sierra let her maw lower to the surface. She took a whiff and concluded it was a fish...after it had jumped into the air and had hit her in the maw.
She shrieked with surprise and backed away from the river. "Ew, that's so gross. I think that fish had three eyes! Oh God that water must be toxic!" She yelled half talking to the other dogs and half talking to herself. Walking over to the other two, she nodded to them both slightly. "Did you see that thing? It was monsterous!"

Hayyyel scoffed and shook her coat free of any water droplets. She stepped from the waters and shook off each leg before she settled herself proudly on the ground. She sniffed the air at an attempt to get the other canines' scent but couldn't pick them out clearly under the smell of rubbish. She hated humans so much, her thoughts began to cloud over with anger at them.
"What's your name?" she directed the question to both canines, trying to forget her anger.
She found this second female to be interesting if not some what annoying. But then again she was judging quite quickly and was new to the place. Hayyel decided to give the female the benefit of the doubt, very much unlike her. It was interesting, she was always nicer to the fems than the brutes.

A light bubble of an amused chuckle voiced out from his vocals shaking his head slightly as he flashed his million dollar smile to female with the two colored optics. She was rather entertaining, unlike the hostile other husky female. Oh well, he would refuse to hold the rocky start he and the other dame had against her. Everyone warmed up to his charm after a while. He was like a poison that was too sweet to not taste.
His well groomed body shifted down to a rather tense sit, his mug curling up in disgust at the numerous pieces of trash that he was avoiding sitting on. This place wasn't any better than that nasty pond. Stupid humans and their ruining of natures beauty. His flopped triangular auds lifted forward as Husky number one asked for both of their names. First though he wanted to say something about that fish; "Disgustin twas. Poor gal.. wouldn't wan' that touchin me" He gave a play shudder before finally turning his attention to the other female. Rising to his feet he gave a half bow before parting his narrow mug. "Lord Nixon, m'lady" [/blockquote]

Her face flushed as she realized what an idiot she had acted like. It must be the presence of that brute. He was so handsome that it was intimidating, especially since Sierra thought of herself as an oddball. Then again humans called her that, and humans are the most disgusting creatures on earth...next to cats.
"Yeah, sorry 'bout that. I just wasn't expecting that fish to attack me." She gave a small smile then looked over to the disturbed husky. She seemed to think of her as annoying in the way that her maw was sculpted. Eyes quivered from one side to the next and her paws scuffled in the dirt.
"Nice to meet you both. I'm Sierra. And you?" The last question was to the female that had a temper toward the Lord.

Hayyel tilted her head to the side slightly. She let out a small laugh, this male was indeed strange. His orange and white coat gleamed in the sun as he settled himself down, away from the trash. He acted like the owned females did. The husky sighed and turned her attention to the other fem.
"My name is Hayyel," she looked over at Nixon. "Does your name really have a lord in front of it or did you just add that?" Her stormy grey eyes twinkled with playful amusement, something few saw in her.

He smirked playfully as he finally aroused a bit of interest in the first husky female who turned to be named Hayyel The playful glint in her hazy chasms brought a new light to this game. Keeping himself perched in a poised position as he sat before the two husky dames he let his canine brow arch a bit. "That indeeda belongsthur." He quipped quickly winking as he paused for a dramatic effect. "Lordnfounder of the Canine Forces mlady." How many times had he crooned out that line? 'Lord and Founder'? Too many to count to be honest. [/blockquote]
