Ah, now here was a scent that wasn't so bad! Nitro lolled her tongue out in a grin as she trotted quietly through the gates and into the schoolyard. Food, and fairly fresh at that. She knew that it would mostly be half-eaten, but the Doberman didn't care too much--her hunger was high today.
Well, let's just have a looksee in here, she thought to herself while rising to rest her front legs over the edge of the smaller dumpster. Nitro could hardly get her nose in, but my she had struck the jackpot! Old partially eaten hamburgers and buns, cold fries and half-spilled milk cartons. Mm, what a feast! Stepping back till she had gauged her landing spot, the fae took a running jump and landed smack-dab in the center of all the food and other trash. She gulped the meat and fries down till she'd had her fill, took a few laps of the milk and decided to call it good. Her preference was water, and she could find that easily enough elsewhere.
Cocking an ear sharply, the black and tan fae listened to the children hollering and laughing inside, and shook her head. Children weren't her favorites, but she could handle them. Actually, she didn't really like humans in general but some of them were tolerable, so long as they didn't try to catch her. Leaping gracefully down, she let herself recover from the jolt of the height and peered around curiously. Were there any other dogs around here, or was she on her own?
Only one way to find out.
