The stifling heat enshrouded the park, the little wind dragging along Jezebel's maw, bringing with it the somewhat disgusting scents of sweating humans. The irritated fae wrinkled her muzzle, and rose from her sitting position, her cream and ivory pelt rippling faintly as the vixen moved away from that particular part of the park. She wore an expression of deep annoyance, mainly because of the humidity and the arrogant humans in equal measure. Jez knew that the season of spring was no time for creatures like her to be roaming the streets, especially at day, what with the crowds of bipeds that flocked here to make the most of the good weather. That alone greatly annoyed the vixen, but they also brought their cubs with them. Like a swarm of locusts, they plagued all of the pale bitch's regular haunts, bringing with them shrill voices, and sticky hands that tried to rove her soft, silky pelt. She knew that usually a low growl and bared teeth got rid of them, but then the wailing would start, and their 'concerned' parents rushed over to shoo her away. It didn't seem fair, that it was she that should be shunned away, like a piece of garbage, when the humans swarmed around. Aside from that, they seemed to continually eat. From every angle, tempting smells made her stomach growl of its own accord. This only made the femme even more irate, and Jez had learned to steer clear of humans during the day.
As she passed a bench that looked like it would collapse under the weight of a rather large man and his equally pudgy child, she gave it a wide birth, not wanting to draw attention to herself. But, even as she turned to hide in the bushes, the girl's piggy eyes found her slim frame. With exclaims of delight, the child went to chase after her, only to be brought to a standstill by her porky father. With wails, she struggled to get at the dog, waving the best parts of a hamburger in Jez's direction. Without meaning to, the fae slunk over to the child while she was talking angrily to the man. Her deep blue orbs never left the burger, and, in a split second, most of it's remains were in between her jaws. Jez ignored the shrill scream, but concentrated on chewing her stolen meal quickly, before bounding off in the opposite direction, before too much attention was drawn onto her.
When she finally stopped, Jez found herself in one of the less crowded parts of the park. Slowing to a walk, the femme turned her dial in every direction, until she was satisfied that there were no bipeds in the immediate vicinity. She settled herself at the base of an old, gnarled tree, curling her frame in on itself, until she was no more than a ball of white fluff. She flicked her bushy banner over her maw, trying to create a draught that would hopefully suck some cooler air into it. Failing rather miserably, she let the fringe of fur fall across her face, using it as a weak shield against the sun, and the most of it's almost blinding rays. [/sub]

The female padded across the park with a weary expression smeared across her face the smell of fat humans made her want to die and the sight of those twig people who never ate why though, well they are humans. Her tail was curled neatly over her back as she padded over a large bridge the sound of ducks caught her attention she avoided the young children who tried to touch her and giving a low growl to anyone who came too close. Her paws settled on the warm wood the sight of swans and other types of duck made her want to laugh at their foolishness they had to be fed by humans how sad she licked her paw and shifted backwards slightly.
She was too hot and she was sure the water would be cold enough to cool this femme off she crunched her body together and ran, fast towards the wooden bars. Her body pulled out into a long dog her tail out behind her, pillars stretched out as far as they would go. Humans watched as the bitch fell getting close to the water she relaxed and then a large splash gained the attention of younger children their joyful laughter made he want to cry she despised it so Colt swam slightly to the edge of the water and shook her damp pale pelt, feeling cooler.
Her blue orbs gazed around this god forsaken park and dullness stuck to her like glue there was nothing for a dog to do anymore expect be annoyed by humans or caught by the dog catcher but those where two things what weren’t going to happen. She trotted lightly towards a willow tree not too far from the pong she had sprung from, lowering her hunches. She sat and watched the humans play younger children having fun the sight of Frisbee’s made her want to go and catch it for some reason and the sight of two young humans, kissing. She felt like she was going top vomit her tail curled tightly around her front pillars as she sat and watched.

Their meeting the parking lot was different. A few laughs given and few words spoken. His ears twitch as he ended up far behind her. See, he was stopped by the sudden rock tossed his way. Either way, he knew where she was going and he made sure he knew her scent. Not for any reason. They both still seem an bit distance from each other, not able to fully trust yet. Already he was protective of her, watchful of others that may be around. He shook his head, watching as the humans played and then the sound of an splash, turned his head. He gave an grin, seeing the female walk out from the water. That was another reason why he liked the park. So many different ways to cool off. Looking around, he saw an water fountain and move over to it. No human was around so he would take this time to rid himself of thirst. Moving towards the shining object. Jumping up, he pressed his body agents the metal and then water started to flow out. He drank what he could and then jumped down, licking his maw and then sniffed around. He gave another smile and then moved the direction of the female. He reach an willow and gave an playful bark to the female he had meant only moment ago. He sat himself right beside her and nudge her gently. It was an simply jester, not much meaning behind it. “Aw, much better then the parking lot.” He said, laying his head down on the soft grass.

The female wondered why the male had gone off to and she realised that she hadn’t introduced herself to the male how rude am i?[/] she thought to herself and gazed around until she spotted him at the fountain a small smile crept across her maw she normally didn’t meet many males like him so she guessed guys like this where one of a kind. She turned her gaze and spotted a small white dog a female, maybe?
She was going to pluck up the guts to approach her until a playful bark gained her attention a small slime lifted upon her white lips her eyes glistening in the suns beams as small clear water droplets run down her snout. Her small oil stain had now left her face since her quick dip in the pond she watched him as he approached her and her gaze softly settled upon his fine muscular body. She felt his warm body touch her as he nudged her shoulder slightly
“Yeah I guess it is this place has more shade though the human company is disturbing”
She spoke with a small playful laugh before laying down next to him her dial on her long white pillars she eyed the smaller female dog in the distance and
“Sorry, I haven’t introduced myself yet. I’m Colt”
She spoke softly and her tail pulled out behind her. Her blue orbs closed as she took in the small amount of relaxation time she had before going doing what ever she did best her tail still behind her then her gaze locked onto a small rose pile the redness was quite attractive though colour-blind she didn’t really know the colour.

Jezebel wasn't in the park anymore. The harsh sunlight vanished, as did the stifling heat, to be replaced with dark, dank coolness. The lush grass underfoot changed to cold, smooth flooring. The big spaces changing to four cramped walls. The fae even saw differences in herself, which frightened her most. The lean bodice she was proud of had caved in on itself, to a thin, stick-like frame, to which her matted fur clung to pathetically. The weary vixen hugged the wall, her blank, deadened, shadow-rimmed gaze fixed onto the wall opposite her, which was composed out of thick, steel bars. Behind them, dark shadows moved across her, and as each one past, the disheveled creature sank further into the shadows, clinging to the cold concrete as though her life depended on it. Those few who stopped in front of her cage terrified her even more than the shadows. Which each one that stopped, her hackles rose that little bit more, in a vain attempt to scare them off. She longed for the day to end, and the comfort of the twilight, where no humans came. Only then could she fully relax. As light turned to dark, and back again, the femme closed her liquid blue eyes, and turned her head away from the bars, unable to stop the small tears from falling, waiting for night to come, so she sleep, and black out her feeling of worthlessness...
Jezebel's orbs snapped open. For a few seconds, her heartbeat pounded in her skull. Then, as the intense heat flooded through her body, she slowly remembered where she was. Peering from the fronds of fur that covered her hot muzzle. All she could see was deep, blue sky. Sighing softly, which ruffled the fan of tail fur, she slowly sat up, getting her breath back. For one, horrible moment, she thought she was back there with the barest scraps of food and only dirty water to drink. The cramped cell she forced herself to call home, and countless bipeds gaping at her as she tried to sleep. No, she wasn't there anymore, so she didn't have to think about it anymore. And she wouldn't; she would make sure of that.
Getting to her feet, she looked around the park, trying to get her bearings back. It appeared that she had barely slept five minutes, as the round glassy sun was still high in the sky, and the odd flock of humans still gathered around the multiple ice cream trucks and hot dog stands in the distance. Already full, the vixen padded to the sound of running water, for it only occurred to her how dry her mouth was.
When she arrived at the pond, she barely took any notice of her surroundings. Her long, lean pillars cantered to the edge of the water, her athletic frame moving with fluid grace, similar to that of a Border Collie. Dipping her muzzle under the cooling surface, she lapped at the refreshing liquid, hoping that it could clear her head as much as her thirst. After she had taken all she required, she raised her dial, and scanned the area with her clouded, preoccupied gaze. It soon settled apon a pair of light coloured dogs, who looked similar in appearance. The bitch raised one eyebrow, thinking. They looked as though they had met before, and, uncharacteristically, was hesitant in joining them. She hated being a third wheel, feeling that those in her company would've been better off without her. Eventually, she bit the bullet, and padded over to the pair. Her face was calm, blank, but the traces of a smile played across her maw. She nodded to the pair, and settled herself on the other edge of the willow, sitting straight against the trunk, a slightly uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach. [/sub]

The females gazed turned upon those of children running around with their small puppies there parents had bought for them or objects such as balls and other gadgets. She let a small sigh leap from her mouth how she deeply craved for a small family like the humans but she could never trust anyone her harks flicked back and forth as random sounds gained her ears attention she smiled as a small white butterfly perched itself on her moist nose and then, it flew away into he far distance.
Her gaze turned upon a white female who appeared to be coming towards them she had looked upon this bitch before and she seemed lonely Colt raised herself to seem polite and peered into the females brown orbs she seemed a mess but Colt wouldn’t say that, how rude would it be? She smiled softly and nodded back, waiting for winter to acknowledge the female.
“Hiya, I’m Colt if you don’t mind me asking what your name would be. I know we don’t really know each other..”
She spoke with a joyful laugh trying to make the femme more at ease she could sense she was unsure of coming over and Colt knew she wasn’t going to harm such an innocent dog her gazed shifted to the brute close next to her. Anyone could think they where well but they both knew at least Colt did that nothing could really happen between them.
