Panting madly, an thin figure laud under the shade of an large tree. The park to her was her home. A safe haven from others and a way to enjoy life. She could only see in one eye but she was allowed to enjoy life more then any other dog could. She use her other senses. She had been in an few fights and had won her share. She loved the park for many reason, no threat of being pestered. Sure, there were many humans during the day but they simply pass her or toss her some scraps. She loved the feel of the wind to her ears as she laid in the shade. The heat was killing her black coat. She had no home to call her own, so she took what she could of this park. She would lay under the playground at night and during the day, sit under an tree and watch as the children play. She admit, wishing to have her own one day. She loved little kids and pups, an soft spot to her. She however, could never see herself getting that close to another. She did not trust an soul and was anti- social. Shaking her head, her tail twitch, an few nearby screams could be herd as the children played. None paid her much mind, some use to seeing her about. A old man was her best friend here. He would always greet her and bring food. However in the past few days she had not seen him and this concern her. Yes, she did care enough. Sighing, she wonder what to do. She was not very active during the day but at night she was an demon. Looking around with her one good eye, she looked for something to drink from.

Her paws landed loudly on the hard ground as Kiata trundled off through the park. It wasn't hot, yet it wasn't cold, moderate. Well that was to a short haired dog. Poor Kiata had not only thick skin, yet thick, matted fur which only protected her to the winter's cold, not the spring's hotness. Kiata could just sense it was going to get hotter the past few months. She sighed and stopped panting and sat down with a bump under a tree that shaded her from the bright sunlight that could blind her. Only round the other side was another dog, but Kiata didn't see her. She squinted and watched as the humans bustled about. Ugh, look at their bald skin with no fur except upon their heads. She haded humans, and always will. Nothing nor no one could change the way she thought about them. A deep sigh was raised through her nostrils and she gave a short whine before yawning. Even in the shade, the hotness was seeping through her fur and making her pant like crazy. Why did it HAVE to be so hot today, there was nowhere to get coldness from. Everywhere was hot and stuffy, and will be the another six months. Why did spring and summer go on for so long?

So this was her life, an life of freedom but she chose to stay in one place. Her time will come and pass easily and she was not sure if she would be able to find an pack. With her one blind eye, most consider it to much of an weakness and so she stands lone. A way of life she was use to by now. Taking in an deep breath she cough the scent of an figure close by, to close for her liking. In fact, this figure was behind her. A slight growl given, she paused herself and gave an sigh. She did not know what this other was doing but she did not feel safe, linger where she was. In most ways she would of just taken off and gone to another place, however she did not want to lose her spot in the shade. She was enjoying herself to much. Sighing, she gave in and stood, moving slowly over to the other side and looking to see Kiata. A large dog but nothing she could fear. Giving an warm faint smile, she stood before the other dog. Her stance ready for any random attack. She looked to the other with her good eye and spoke. “Hello.” she said kindly but an bit tense. Why ruined such an day, besides it did not hurt to talk with another at times. This day was to hot and dragging on to cause trouble with another she did not know. Then again, what was this other dog doing. Hopefully the same as she.

Her orbs glanced round in astonishment as the fea appeared. How long had she been sitting here? Probably a while. Kiata saw her lips move and her voice come out. So she wasn't deadly or anything, and she wasn't afraid of Kiata. Well, who would be with this daft personality? She bowed her head and opened her mouth in reply. Hello... and what is your name? She asked with a timid voice and yet a bit of coldness shoved in there. Kiata sighed. That was how she was and how she always will be. Kiata yawned and settled down again. This bitch was no threat to her and wouldn't tear her to ribbons, no. She didn't seem very scary or evil. Kiata gave a smile and sniffed the ground, quietly.

It seems the female before Adrienne was no harm at all. Taking in an deep breath she clam herself and sat before the female. She was still, however watchful. To many times had she let her guard down and was attacked out of the blue. “My name is Adrienne, and you?” She said, her voice very mellow. The female before her would be no issue. Looking with her only good eye, she knew she might of looked odd, she was use tot his and did not care. “Nice day to lay in the shade at the park, even with the screaming voices of the humans.” He gave an slight smile and then looked around. She loved he park and this washer home, either way.
(Sorry, low muse.)

Her eyebrows raised and she sniffed in content. No harm at all. No evilness, that she saw in her optics and no snarl whipping into her tone. Kiata breathed out and looked up at the bitch. Adrienne... Adrienne. That was her calling, her name. Adrienne. My name? Well if you want to know, it is Kiata. She answered proudly, raising her muzzle to the sky, most likely looking like she was showing off. But what did Kiata care if she was showing off? Kiata rarely did it and she very rarely did anything actually. Sometimes her shadow would only be seen, curled on a street corner as the busy humans walk by. Aye... a nice day but those damned humans deserve to die. She replied coldly with hatred and snap in her voice, ringing through the air. How dare the humans take over the world's land and not give a care in the world about the dogs that are starving and limited to tiny places in the world.

Adrienne listen to the dog before her. Nothing about her bother her enough to snarl or growl. It was an simple conversation and she was glade to have an name with an face. “ Nice to meet you Kiata.” She said her tone never changing as it was still mellow. She looked around, glancing to the sky and then went back to the moment. Seeing the pride held in the females tone. She shook her head and sighed. Many dos were like that. She wish she could see better, then maybe this would go better. “Humans are such horrid things, what they did to the pond and stream….It is amazing that they were still alive and well.” she said in response. She did not hate humans with an passion but did dislike. She bitten one once before but then thinking of that moment made her think of the old mane again, how kind he was to her and how…He was missing.
