'Thirty Minutes was all it took for my sister to die...Thirty Minutes for death...will it take me Thirty Minutes to die...no I'm already dead inside...' These thoughts ran threw Sora's head as she walked upon the mudd around the pond known as Coopers Pond, though nobody seemed to care about it....in many ways the pond and Sora were alike...nobody seemed to care and maybe that was because nobody wanted to, and in some ways Sora was like the mud upon the ground stained by it forever stained...
Within all of theses thoughts in Sora's head layed a once happy pup that wished to get away from all these troubles and bad memories, even for one moment...even for Thirty Minutes...

Sandee walked along the edge of the pond, her silky fur blowing in the slight breeze. She had never been here before, and it really was quite an interesting place. She was just about to go look for some food when she saw a dog, lying in the mud by the edge of the pond. She looked miserable, and knowing the feeling, she wasn't sure if it would be the right thing to go down and try to help, or to just keep her distance, but she really knew that sometimes all that was really ever needed was company. Padding down to where she lay, Sandee stood over the dog and barked a soft greeting. "Hello.." she began, her head tilted to one side as she looked for some sign of recognition of her presence. "Are you okay?"

Sora could slightly smell something...a dog prehaps...yes it was a dog Sora noted as she let her head gaze up at the dog as she padded down to were Sora was laying in the cool mudd at the moment. As the other dog started to speak to her Sora sall no threat but the other seemed to want to help, "Hello..." Sora barked back to the dog though Sora look still seemed quite sad.
"I suppose I'm ok...though i could be better..." A smile slightly formed upon Sora's muzzle, company was always nice...and how sometimes she wished she had more of it..."Im Sora..." Sora barked once more slowly getting up, her bones were not as they used to be after all she was seven years of age.

Sandee smiled back at the dog understandingly. "Hello Sora, I'm Sandee," she replied, her eyes glittering genuinely with concern. "I'm glad to hear that you are ok, I am sorry for whatever happened. The old dog was in obvious need of a friend.. as was Sandee, and she could not help but extend her muzzle in greeting. There was no harm in good company, and maybe she could help this dog yet; she knew something still was not quite right.

It had not been long since he had lost come to this area. It was here that he had met Nixon and an interesting conversation had merge between them. Shaking his head, he moved out of the pond as he had done so before, he herd voices from the distance and looked to see two females talking. One looked to be laying in the mud and in no mood, the other he knew well as an breed of an husky. He gave an sigh, he was dubbed High King in the pack he had learned to love and his outing was simple, making an few friends would not hurt. Moving on, he came close to the two and bowed his head. “Hello, ladies.” He spoke with humor his voice charming as he was thought to treat ladies with great respect. “Are you both alright/” He question them, not ready to give away a name so fast.

Sandee watched the dog approach them, and smiled. It was not any day she got to meet new dogs. "Hello," she replied, "I believe we're both all right.." Looking again at Sora, she could only hope those words were true. OOC: writer's block, lol XD

Sora nodded her head ever so slightly, a slight smile still upon her muzzle. "Pleased to meet you Sandee." Sora spoke her words seemed rather happy or as happy as they could get...from being threw what she went threw a year ago, and most would say that a year is plenty of time to get over such a thing...but for Sora it wasn't in her mind not even in a lifetime could she get over such a thing...
She then snapped from her thoughts as male dog came forward just to say hello, though his voice held humor and charm...Sora would defiantly never fall for it being at her age she doubted anybody would..."Hello" She began back to the male. "I'm fine i suppose..."She continued then nodded to Sandee because it seemed she was hopeing that Sora was ok...
ooc: Lol i tend to get that to.XD

He was not there to charm away the two females. He was not that type. He was truly there to see how they were, if anything was wrong with the one the female laying in the mud. H herd both their names well and nodded his head. “My name is Winter Blaze. Pleasure to meet you both. Sorry if I was intruding on your conversation.” He meant well, maybe to make new friends, that was his real reason. He saw them both at the same level, not one a better catch then the other, but as he said to himself he was being himself, he was simple there to talk. He recall how he liked to walk through the pond and feel the mud through his paws, he guess the one laying in the mud felt the same. Shrug it off, he was kind till the end. ‘so, what brings you both here on this day?” He question nicely.

Sandee smiled at Sora, glad to know that she was really OK. "I'm Sandee, it's a pleasure to meet you both too," she barked, her blue eyes sparkling softly. "Just checking in on things... I've never been here before, believe it or not." She could now tell that Winter Blaze was not the kind of male to be worried about, and more of a friend than a possible threat, so she relaxed. She was grateful that she had not met any potential enemies yet, and quite frankly, she didn't believe she could really stand to. Tracing her paw over the sandy, muddy ground, she looked at both of them. Company again... it was a wonderful thought. Her maw relaxed into a grin as she sat lightly next to Sora and Winter Blaze...

Sora could tell now that Winter Blaze, was more of a friend than anything so was Sandee, and she was glad to know that because well she need friends then again she figured that without friends for a year anybody would want them.
"I've never been here before ither....though i rather do like this place very much so." She replied in a soft manor, this was all around her first time in this area ever since she lift here pack...our what was left of them after the storm.
OOC: Sorry quite braindead at the moment...

Winter Blaze looked to both females as they spoke. Each one he knew realized he was just an friend. He meant no trouble and not flitting. He was far from the type, not like Nixon. He nodded his head and then spoke. “I have been here, once before, believe it or not the mud feels nice between your paws and cools you off from this heat.” He gave an sigh, glancing around again and then taking notice to the objects around him. “This place use to be nice once, I am sure. Shame it is not as nice.” He gave an sigh and looked back to the two before them. They seemed quit nice and were good company.

Sandee nodded politely at him, but couldn't help wondering about what his words meant. How did it used to be different... perhaps, without the humans? And the advice about the mud did sound quite refreshing. Smiling, she decided to inquire: "How did it used to be nicer?" Looking around again, she noticed that indeed there was a lot of garbage lying around, and humans guffawing at eachother. What would it be like if it was a bit quieter.. just for dogs...

Winter gave an slight sigh. “Well, like most things in this city. Without the humans messing things up, the pond was clean. You could drink and bath in it with no problems. The bottom was filled with clear rocks and not thick mud. The gases were not always around till humans started to feed them. It was nice here.” He gave an slight sigh and shook his ears as an chill hit him.

Sandee tilted her head to the side. A clean, beautiful, human-free place was exactly what most dogs needed every now and then, but now that was daring to dream. She gazed out on the pond and yearned to see how it had once been. You could tell on a bit of closer inspection that it was growing weaker: trash skimmed the surface, and the water was a dark, murky brown. How nice it must've been. Humans now obviously overpopulated the dogs, but before getting forced onto the streets, she had always thought that it was just naturally always that way. "So.. you ever had any humans?" She asked the dogs casually.
